FLEET WEEK '08

Fleet Week in SF means the Blue Angels flying overhead, a bunch of Naval activities, and just another reason to have a "festival" and be outdoors with all the tourists. Me, KRS, and Rube were festive and checked out the happenings at the Pier.

Came across this vending machine at the Pier over the weekend... Take a good look, its a MAKER'S MARK vending machine!! Yes, the liquor!



I got excited and wanted to see what it was all about so I pulled out $1. A security guard walked up to me and said, "Look up, its fake."



Oops. Too good to be true...

FYI: That In'N'Out email thats been circulating is a big hoax. I knew it was too good to be true. The email said: "In-n-Out's 60th Year Anniversary is Wednesday, October 22nd. All hamburgers will be sold for 25 cents, Cheeseburgers 30 cents, Fries 15 cents, and drinks are 10 cents!!! So mark your calendars!" Its BS so don't go there and be an idiot and pay with loose change or they'll look at you funny.
