Jay-Z & Beyoncé getting married for real this time?
E! News is reporting this:

Either Jay-Z's love has gotten the best of Beyoncé, or the crazy-in-lovebirds are playing one heck of an April Fools' joke on the world.

The longtime couple obtained a New York wedding license Tuesday morning, according to People.

A Knowles rep refused to comment on the singer's betrothed status or her seemingly pending nuptials, but People quoted an unnamed source saying the license, obtained in Scarsdale Village, a suburb of Westchester County, is good for 60 days. (A quick glance at the calendar shows that the "I dos" would go down by June 1, if the report is true.)

With the news of the possibly very big next step in their relationship coming after business hours on the East Coast, the county clerk's office couldn't immediately be reached for confirmation.

Knowles, 26, and her 38-year-old beau, whose real name is Shawn Carter, have been dating for more than five years and, despite the inevitable breakup rumors and stepping-out speculation that has dogged them at times, the duo is apparently still going strong.

And this isn't the first time it's been suspected that wedding bells were going to chime for the power couple; although, what with the purported paperwork and all, this could be the first time the stories ring true.

In December 2006, the New York Post had them planning to tie the knot on the island of Anguilla while out of town to ostensibly celebrate Jay-Z's 37th birthday. The rival Daily News immediately quashed the item with a report that the "03 Bonnie & Clyde" pair had already returned from their Caribbean getaway, so the party had already occurred—and no one returned to these shores newly married.

I mean... I never understood this couple to begin with. Come on, its beautiful BEYONCE and Jay-Z. The guy is loaded and is a hall of fame rapper, but seriously...look at him and look at her. I guess she's learned to look elsewhere, like his wallet or his cars, jewelry, clothes, etc. Sorry, that sounds mean. I know you're thinking it too. Then again, I guess money ain't got a face...!
