Here are a few Black Friday deals for those of you trying to get a deal this year. They say that this year will bring out alot of first time black Friday shoppers, partly due to the all-time low prices on TVs. Everyone's going to be shopping for a new plasma or HDTV avoiding the the digital conversion BS that comes around Feb 2009, so be prepared to line up and be annoyed all morning long.
Many of the popular stores like Target and Wal-Mart are keeping mum until the last minute, so stay tuned and I'll post up more deals as they come out. Here are a few so far...
Best Buy
What's likely to be on sale: HDTVs, laptops, picture frames and GPS. Expect to see extra long lines at Best Buy this year as many first-time Black Friday shoppers looking for new TVs in response to the digital switchover. Dan de Grandpre from Dealnews.com predicts that shoppers will find very aggressive pricing on laptops and Blu-Ray players as well as Insignia and Westinghouse HDTVs.
Prediction: Lines stretched around the block will bring in record sales for the electronics giant.
